Now, however, the situation is much worse, the number of victims of bad weather has already increased to at least 60 people, and it could increase further. The state was the hardest hit New York, in particular, the city of Buffalo, where the snowfall already exceeds 1.2 meters snowand it keeps raining.

One of the victims of the snowstorm was just 22-year-old Anndel Taylor of Buffalo. On Friday, as a woman returned from work and a snowstorm passed through the city, her car got stuck in a snowdrift. He described the case “New York Post Office”. Taylor sent a series of recordings to his relatives. She said on them that she was scared, and also showed that the car was almost completely buried.
She sent the last video around midnight. She later told her sisters in a group chat that she would sleep for a while and wait for help, and if help didn’t come when she woke up, she would try to go to a safe place. .
According to the family, the 22-year-old spent about 18 hours in the car before the emergency services – which she had alerted earlier – managed to reach her. Due to difficult weather conditions, they also had problems overcoming the route.

Services did not reach Taylor’s car until Saturday. The woman is no more living. Relatives say she died of oxygen poisoning coalbecause the car had the engine running all the time. Their theory is that the exhaust pipe was clogged with snow, and the fumes entered the car. This has not yet been confirmed by doctors.
