The photo that “The Sun” wrote about was taken on August 4, 1990 at approx. 9:00 p.m. by two tourists on a hill near Calvine, just off the A9 motorway, near Perth, Scotland. Men, whose identities remain unknown to this day, say they watched the floating metal object for ten minutes as fighters flew at close range.
At one point, the object was about to fly away at phenomenal speed. From that moment he was never seen again.. Fortunately, tourists managed to capture this moment in a photo. You can see there not only a mysterious diamond-shaped ship, but also a small jet.
The best UFO photo in the world. They were found after many years
The photos taken by unidentified people were passed on to the Scottish Daily Record, which in turn provided them to the Ministry of Defence. However, the story was not published in the media, resulting in the creation of a myth about the so-called photos of Calvine.
Years later, however, the original photograph and prints were found.. This goes to Dr. David Clarke, who was curator of the UFO File Project at the Department of Defence. His efforts resulted in reaching Craig Lindsay, a former British Air Force (RAF) spokesman.
Lindsay kept the prints of the original photos. He was the interlocutor between the press and the Ministry of Defense when the photographs were taken in 1990. This is why the Briton had an envelope sent to the ministry by the Daily Record.
Lindsay agreed to give the photos to Clarke, after which they ended up in the University of Sheffield archives.. There, Vinnie Adams of activist group UAP Media UK has to take care of them. – It was an honor to work on this case with such a dedicated team of researchers. We are perhaps no closer to answering the question of what this installation near Calvine was and who owned it. However, an important piece of the puzzle has come back into place, Adams said.
After 32 years and intense investigation, it’s a good idea to show the world this image that has remained elusive until now. I am now appealing to anyone who has information about the photographer’s identity or is aware of the case to report to us, Adams added in an interview with “The Sun.”
In Britain, the myth of the so-called Calvine photos became popular after one of the Ministry of Defense employees said there was a large poster on the ministry’s premises showing the moment captured in August 1990.
Researcher Nick Pope, who worked for the Department of Defense in the 1990s on a UFO project, revealed the story in 1996 in his book, Open Heaven, Closed Minds.. Pope said in his post that the UK had asked for help from the US to solve the mystery and wanted to know if the photo was of an experimental aircraft. Subsequently, the photograph was to mysteriously disappear from the ministry’s offices.
The debate over the photo of Calvine and the UFO has become a great battle between skeptics and believers. I can’t answer all your questions about it, but I recommend my publication which gives the basics of the subject, tweeted Pope after the discovery of the photos taken in 1990.
