The late Queen’s funeral will be attended by her four children – King Charles III, Princess Anna, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward, and their spouses: Queen Consort Camilla, Countess Wessex Sophie and Sir Tim Laurence. The Queen’s grandchildren will also be present.
According to CNN representatives in Syria, Venezuela, Afghanistan and Russia, Belarus and Myanmar were not invited to the ceremony. Diplomatic relations between Britain and Russia deteriorated significantly after the start of the war in Ukraine, and the President of Belarus is considered a close ally of Vladimir Putin. However, representatives from Burma were not invited due to last year’s coup.
After the funeral, Queen Elizabeth II will rest in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. Her parents, her sister, Princess Margaret, and her husband, Prince Philip, are also buried there. The funeral will take place on Monday, September 19 at 12 p.m. Polish time. It will be broadcast by media around the world.
