silent Hill is probably one of the most iconic Japanese gaming brands. No wonder, however, as the first production of the series turned out to be a breakthrough and a breakthrough for a new trend in horror games today. Production from 1999 was mainly characterized by:
- thick atmosphere
- good story
- gripping and intriguing story
- excellent environment and opponent design
- single piece of music
The title was further promoted by the 2006 film adaptation, which is still considered today one of the best game screen adaptations of all time.
The Team Silent studio-initiated series saw a few more games over the next few years, including two more in the main series and a few side effects created by other studios. For a long time, however, gamers haven’t had another high-quality game within the brand, and that may soon change.
Brand owner silent Hill – the Konami company, after many years, has provided us with an announcement that we have been waiting for a long time. New games have been announced and, what’s more, there will be several, each of them will be different. This variety may allow the brand to reach a wider audience, but don’t worry, loyal fans shouldn’t be disappointed either.
