Clashes on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan. A violent fire is in progress
Let’s remember – the information so far shows that on the night of Monday to Tuesday there was an exchange of fire between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Both parties blame each other for starting the fire. “Monday evening Azerbaijan Heavy artillery fire began on Armenian positions near the towns of Goris, Sotk and Jermuk. Drones were also used in the attack “- reported the Armenian Defense Ministry.
In turn, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry informed that Armenia had launched “large-scale provocative actions” in the border regions of Dashkesan, Kelbajar and Lachin. They had to rely on mortar fire. Azerbaijani soldiers were expected to die as a result of the Armenian bombardment, but the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry did not reveal the death toll.
According to the Collective Security Treaty Organization agreement, an attack on Armenia means an attack on all member states of the organization (Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan).
The latest information indicates that Azerbaijan attacked on the internationally recognized territory of Armenia itself, with the exception of disputed Nagorno-Karabakh – writes journalist Neil Hauer on Twitter.

It’s hot again in the Nagorno-Karabakh region
From time to time, there are exchanges of fire between the two countries.
