The new Mercedes GLC – a popular design
The exterior design is an extension of the appearance of the predecessor. The new GLC has changed in style to the new C-Class. At the front, the new headlights (Digital Lifght optional) attract attention and connect directly to the grille. At the rear, slimmer lamps were also used, making this part of the car look neater. Additionally, we have typical attributes for an SUV, incl. skid plates or roof rails, which add a looser off-road character to the Mercedes elegance.
The new Mercedes GLC – modern interior
The profound changes to the predecessor are clearly visible inside the new GLC. The instrument panel with many decorative surfaces is divided into two sections, and the central screen gives the impression of hovering above. The car can be equipped with the latest technologies available. There is also a large selection of finishing materials. Passengers should not complain about the lack of space in the cabin, as well as the luggage compartment, the standard capacity of which is 620 liters.
The new Mercedes GLC – soft hybrids or plug-ins
The SUV is powered by gasoline and diesel engines. All were equipped with a 9-stage “automatic” and electrified. One can choose soft hybrids or plug-ins capable of traveling a long distance on a charged battery using only electric propulsion (even above 100 km for a speed of 140 km/h). The power range goes from 197 hp (GLC 220 d version) to 351 hp (GLC 400 e). The top model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds.
The new Mercedes GLC – for the active
As befits a full-fledged SUV, the new GLC comes standard with all-wheel drive which, combined with higher ground clearance, makes descending down light terrain stress-free. A trip to the mountains to ski, a ride on soggy Great Dane soil or safe driving on a slippery road is standard in this car. The manufacturer has also taken care of the practical towing of the trailer, which is helped by the camera image showing the hook and the area directly behind it, as well as a special maneuvering assistant.
