Poland 2050 wants to expand the Sejm agenda with information…

Poland 2050 politicians tabled a motion to expand the Sejm’s agenda to include briefings from the Prime Minister on the Przewodowo incident. Russia is responsible for the deaths of two Polish citizens regardless of who launched the missile, Poland 2050 leader Szymon Hołownia said Wednesday after the Security Council meeting.

The president decided to convene a meeting of the National Security Council late Tuesday evening after reports of an explosion in the village of Przewodów in Hrubieszów district, which resulted in the deaths of two Polish citizens.

The leader of Poland 2050 pointed out that as a result of tragic events, we have the first two civilian victims of Vladimir Putin’s war in Poland. He informed that Council participants had received assurances from President Andrzej Duda and Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki that the families of the victims would receive appropriate care.

Hołownia believed that Putin can win the war if he manages to manipulate us with misinformation. “We cannot allow this to happen. The cure for misinformation is information, which is why we have asked government officials, God forbid, for such a situation to happen again, that politics information responds to people’s real needs and emotions” – he said.

Hołownia argued that the government also needs information on what it intends to do to protect our skies more effectively with its allies.

Earlier, during a press briefing on Wednesday at the Sejm, Polska 2050 Circle President Hanna Gill-Piątek and MEPs: Mirosław Suchoń and Paweł Zalewski, on behalf of all Poland 2050 politicians, expressed their condolences to the families of the victims of the Przewodów tragedy.

On the other hand, MP Zalewski informed that the Poland 2050 circle presented a motion to expand the agenda of the Sejm to include information from the Prime Minister about what happened on Tuesday at the border with Poland. Ukraine. He stressed that air defense is now crucial. “We expect that the Polish government, until the batteries ordered from the United States arrive in Poland, will ask the allies for the rental of Patriot missiles” – he said.

Mirosław Suchoń, however, said that in situations like this, which happened on Tuesday, the most important thing is reliable and complete information, which was missing in the first hours after the tragedy. “Yesterday, two hours after the incident, a secret meeting of the National Defense Committee took place and Deputy Minister (Wojciech) Skurkiewicz attended the meeting, probably already knowing the situation and the circumstances of this event” – Suchoń noted.

Prior to the Security Council meeting, President Andrzej Duda announced that “there is no indication that the Przewodów event was an intentional attack on Poland”. He said it was most likely an accident. “We have no evidence that the missile was launched by Russia, there is a high probability that it was a Ukrainian defense missile,” the president said.

Andrzej Duda informed that the RBN meeting was a constructive three hour meeting. “It was a very open, very honest and very responsible discussion,” he said. He underlined the responsible approach of the representatives of all political groups. (PORRIDGE)
