The former goalkeeper was born in May 1972. He grew up in Szczcecin with his two siblings. In addition to football, he also practiced judo and basketball. As a teenager, he was invited to train with Pogoń Szczecin.
He made his debut for Ekstraklasa in the 1992/1993 season. For many seasons he was the mainstay player for the Porters. Throughout his career, he performed in various clubs: from Turkish, to Greek, to Israeli and ending with Polish – Wisła Krakow, Polonia Warszawa. It was with the Krakow team that he won the national championship twice.
– Pogoń was, is and will be an important club for me. I grew up there, played there and looking back I know I needed a change, so I represented other clubs too – he said in an interview with “Głos”Radosław Majdan.
He played seven matches for the Polish national team:
- 01/26/2000 – friendly match with Spain (0:3 for Spain),
- 14.11.2001 – friendly match with Cameroon (0:0),
- 13.02.2002 – friendly match with Northern Ireland (4:1 for Poland),
- 27.03.2002 – friendly match with Japan (0:2, Japan won),
- 18.05.2002 – friendly match with Estonia (1:0 for Poland),
- 06.14.2002 – match with the USA at the World Cup (3:1 for Poland),
- 21.08.2002 – friendly match with Belgium (1:1).
He ended his sports career in 2010. He then became spokesperson for Polonia Warsaw. In 2019, he accepted the position of goalkeeper coach of blind football club Śląsk Wrocław. He won the Club World Cup with them
