She’s as old as she looks. Once upon a time, he was his master’s darling, a faithful friend: loved and pampered. Now his health does not require it. It has weakened with age, so it has become useless. He was treated like a useless object: rejected, abandoned.

We are talking about Lord – an old dog in the type of German Shepherd, which since April of this year. is a resident of the Szczecin Homeless Animal Shelter.

– It was entrusted to us by ul. Sieradzka, brought by an emergency ambulance. So many months and no one cared about this sweet dog. Maybe the magic of Christmas will change his fate? – the shelter staff said hopefully.

Lord is almost 15 years old. And although the birth certificate should not be – even for a dog – a sentence…

– Has a chip number. Unfortunately, contact with Lord’s owner was unsuccessful. Everything indicates that he abandoned a friend in need. Sad. Moreover, this Lord is very pro-human: gentle, obedient, knows the basic commandments, walks well on a leash. We believe this adorable dog deserves someone special. – His posture probably inspires respect, but in fact he is a very nice and gentle dog. We are looking for a home for our senior, preferably with a garden, and above all, a caretaker who will ensure Lord a peaceful autumn of life.

You don’t have to look at his file. Because he can definitely bring as much joy to human life as young dogs.

We love old dogs! They don’t have time to wait months for a real home.

The establishment is open every day, also on the Saturdays and Sundays indicated (except public holidays), from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Adoption takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Note: in addition to Lord, there are still nearly seventy homeless dogs and kittens waiting for new homes.
