Nimes Olympic
The lawn is covered. Yesterday FC Annecy made a call for volunteers to place a tarpaulin on the main field of the Parc des Sports, where the match against Nîmes Olympique will take place this Friday at 9 p.m. Goodwill answered the call and they were around 30 this morning helping the club. For an hour and a half, the volunteers, accompanied by agents from the city of Annecy, worked to set up this tarpaulin that will protect the site from the heavy rains expected tonight and tomorrow during the day. This precaution may prevent the already poor lawn from deteriorating.
A promising referee. It is Azzedine Souifi (28) who will referee the meeting Annecy – Nîmes Olympique on Friday. It will not be a discovery for the Crocodiles as they have already met him once this season, when Stade Lavallois came to Les Costières. This referee therefore leaves a good memory of the NO who had won 1-0. On the other hand, the Haut-Savoyards were not very happy with Mr. Souifi since the two times he refereed the team led by Laurent Guyot, Annecy lost at home (to Niort 1-2 and Bastia 0-2).

Boukli number 1. The International Judo Federation has published the world rankings that close 2022, after the Jerusalem Masters. There are two French women there: Romane Dicko in +78 kg and the Gardoise Shirine Boukli in -48 kg. At the age of 23, the latter retains its place as world No. 1 in its category after a successful year. She placed first at the Jerusalem Masters, the Baku Grand Slam and the Oberwart European Open. Earlier in the season, she also reached the top step of the podium at the European Senior Judo Championships in Sofia and at the Grand Slam in Tel Aviv. Enough to forget the big disappointment at the world championships in Tashkent last October where the Aramonese judoka was eliminated in the 3rd round.
