The Pringles factory located in Kutno (ŁSEZ), owned by Kellogg, is undergoing further expansion. After last year’s record project and the creation of the fourth production line, the factory is now building another fifth line producing the famous Pringles snacks.
Kellogg has again chosen the Polish factory in Kutno to invest more than 275 million PLN. The factory expansion will increase production of Pringles snacks to 100 million kilograms per year and create at least 50 new jobs.
The development of the Polish factory resulted from the growing demand for the popular Pringles and the growing Pringles business in Europe. Products from the Kutno factory hit store shelves in 16 countries around the world, in 18 different flavors.
– Thanks to the high level of commitment of our employees, the excellent results of the plant and the partially prepared infrastructure for the new line, which we realized during the previous construction, we are growing even more – comments Ronny Matthijsdirector of the Kellogg’s factory in Kutno.
Kellogg is committed to providing innovative solutions for environmental protection and sustainable development.
-During the construction of the new line, we installed a heat recovery system and introduced new technological solutions that will allow us to significantly reduce the plant’s energy consumption. We will also improve water management by using rainwater in social facilities – emphasizes Marcin Lewicki, Senior Program Manager and Start Up Leader, who is responsible for managing the project.
The project will last until June 2023.
After the expansion, the Pringles factory in Kutno will employ more than 600 employees and approximately 150 full-time contractors employed by outside companies.
