“Operation Ganga is a very good example of how the Indian diaspora has taken a very active role, whether it’s a crisis or anything else. They don’t see it as a state. They see it as a country. We are all together. And Diaspora Indians play a very important role. “I think this is a great opportunity. Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is a great platform for Indian people to meet and to express their views to the whole world,” he said.
The Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award (PBSA) is the highest honor given to Overseas Indians. The awards will be presented by the President of India during the PBD conference during the Pravasi Bharatiya divas gratitude session.
