Michał Wójcik announced the next album in the spring of this year. The new musical talent on our political scene intends to pay tribute to the recently deceased artist. Krzysztof Krawczyk’s hits will be sung from March to coincide with the anniversary of the artist’s death, which falls on April 5.
– After the spectacular success of the Christmas album, I decided that I could conquer the stages and the hearts of people. I received a concert offer. I have received excellent text messages from famous artists. I am a parliamentarian from Katowice and Krzysztof Krawczyk was born in this city. This album recorded by me will be a tribute to him. That’s how I see it – the politician said in “Super Express”.
The minister at the Prime Minister’s Chancellery was surprised by journalists in a shopping center by a shelf with records. He was supposed to be looking for the works of Krzysztof Krawczyk. He was also asked what songs to expect. – There will certainly be “Steamboat”, because I always sing it very well, or “I will follow you like at a ball”. In March I go into the studio, I record an album and in April, on the anniversary of the death of Krzysztof Krawczyk, we will release it. I even have the first concert offers – he announced.
Minister Wójcik’s Talent Explosion
Christmas is here for politicians an opportunity to show their less formal side. Michał Wójcik decided to show off his vocal talent. Last year, the Solidarna Polska politician recorded a cover of “I’ll Be Home for Christmas”, an American Christmas song from 1943. Its shape resembles a letter written by a soldier fighting at the front of World War II and asks his family to prepare for Christmas. The blow was struck by Bing Crosby and Elvis Presley. This year, in turn, the Minister of the Prime Minister’s Chancellery decided to bring to the workshop one of the most iconic Christmas songs – “Driving Home for Christmas”, written by Chris Rea.
