Defender Dayot Upamecano and midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni, two holders of the French team, did not participate in collective training in Doha on Monday, two days before the World Cup semi-final against Morocco.
The twenty-two other players started the session with a warm-up led by physical trainer Cyril Moine, open to the press during the first fifteen minutes.
Tchouaméni and Upamecano moved to the Jassim bin-Hamad stadium, the training ground of the Blues, where they stayed inside, we learned from the management, without further details. The French team will face Morocco on Wednesday (8 p.m.) in al-Khor for a place in the final, four and a half years after being crowned in Moscow against Croatia. The Croatians will meet Argentina in Lusail on Tuesday (8 p.m.) in the other semi-final.
