The victim of the Siecieborzyce explosion is slowly recovering. Urszula sees and remembers what the package she opened looked like

Ms Urszula from Siecieborzyce keeps in touch with her family using a tablet and video calls. She sees, but not very clearly, and remembers perfectly the package she brought home. She is sure that the package was addressed to her. It was directly directed at her and her family.

Urszula slowly comes back to life and finds herself in a new reality. “He sees, though still dimly,” he says Marcin Banaszkiewiczyour brother-in-law Ursula. She vividly remembers the little metal box she brought into the kitchen. This confirms what her mother had said earlier, that her name was on the package.

Ms. Urszula and her family are struggling to rebuild their lives. Mrs. Ula’s 3-year-old son Bartuś, who was in his grandmother’s arms at the time of the explosion, is already at home. He suffered from back injuries because his face was pressed against Ms Urszula’s mother. Mr. Banaszkiewicz points out that Bartuś has a back injury which, fortunately, is healing well. He will soon be able to return to the nursery.
Ola, Mrs Urszula’s 7-year-old daughter, will also be discharged from hospital this week, and the family is wondering what her return to school should look like? Will she be safe? For now, the family has police protection, but it’s unclear how long this will last. Urszula’s mother also returned home.

The part of the house damaged by the explosion has already been renovated. Mom is sleeping better and better, but she is not yet able to recover. He stays with his family – adds Mr. Banaszkiewicz.

The injured woman is still in the hospital and is slowly coming back to life. Despite his vision problems, he remains in contact with his family via the Internet. Urszula lost her right hand in the explosion. The one on the left was saved, but is no longer fully functional after the pile sewing operation. To operate the tablet, the stylus must be attached to the stump of the hand. He is improving. It is his window on the world.

Prosecutor Ewa Antonowicz, a spokeswoman for the Zielona Góra District Prosecutor’s Office reiterates that, for the purposes of the investigation, she cannot provide any information in this case. Is there a breakthrough in the investigation? This also remains a mystery. “A lot has been done,” he says.
As part of these activities, the house of Ms Urszula’s ex-partner, who drives a truck across Europe, was raided. He was on tour when he spoke to us. He denied having anything to do with the explosion.

On Monday morning December 19, 2022, a package in his name was found outside the house by Urszula, 31, who brought it home. There was an explosion when she opened it. The fragments injured Urszula herself, as well as her two children: seven-year-old Ola and nearly three-year-old Bartuś. All three and the grandmother who held the boy in her arms were taken to hospital. Urszula, the most seriously injured, has lost her hand and has many surgeries ahead of her. On Tuesday, December 27, 2022, the woman was awakened from a pharmacological coma.

Marcin Banaszkiewicz created a collection for Mrs. Ula and her children. Currently, he has collected more than 220 thousand. zloty. – The amount of donations and messages restores our faith in people – he wrote on the screenshot. – I guarantee that every zloty in the collection will be used only for the renovation of the apartment and its subsequent rehabilitation, which is difficult to assess today. A long fight for Ula’s eyesight awaits us, the care of psychologists and physiotherapists, and if funds allow, we will also pay for Ula’s guardian.
– May God take care of them and give them health so that they can continue to live happily – wrote Ms. Natalia. – I support you wholeheartedly. No one deserved such cruelty.
