TVN, together with the largest universities in Poland, is organizing a competition for the best study scenario under the slogan “Free your imagination”. Among the scenarios submitted, the jury will select the 5 best, which will be implemented in TVN XR Studio.

– XR technology allows you to create images previously recorded in real life. TVN produces “Na Wspólnej” and “Klara” using this technology. In January, 130 students came to the TVN XR studio. Young people absolutely have a thirst and willingness to use new technologies – said Kinga Burzyńska, curator of the “Unleash your imagination” competition.

– I do not need to be persuaded to carry out such projects. I’m excited because there is no media without technology and there is no creation without technology. The second thing is to work with young people, we must help them, give them opportunities, inspire them and mentor them. This competition has – added Kasia Kieli, president and CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery in Poland and CEO of TVN.

The jurors of the competition were Agnieszka Smoczyńska, Jan Holoubek, Bartłomiej Ignaciuk, Bartłomiej Kaczmarek and Paweł Maślona. The creators see enormous potential in the technology presented.

– It expands the possibilities of how we think about cinema. From now on, to shoot a film in Paris, you no longer have to go there. It is a transfer of yourself and the actors of Virtual realitywhich makes the game easier – said Agnieszka Smoczyńska, director and juror of the competition.

– This gives the possibility of building a set, for example for a young director who would not have the budget for this – added Jan Holoubek, director.
