According to the latest Skytrax rankings, based on surveys of airline passengers, Singapore’s Changi Airport has been named the world’s best airport for the sixth consecutive time. Korea’s Seoul Incheon International Airport came second in this year’s ranking, which moved up one place from the previous year’s ranking. This is followed by Tokyo Haneda, Hong Kong International Airport and Doha International Airport in Hamada. Munich Airport, in sixth place, is the highest ranked airport in Europe.
Changi Airport, which welcomed a record 62.2 million passengers last year, continues to expand. The airport is building a fifth terminal and a third runway.
There were no representatives from the United States in the top ten. The highest rated airport in North America is Vancouver, ranked 14th. Denver, ranked 29th, was the best airport among U.S. ports.
And how did Polish airports behave? Only Warsaw Chopin Airport appeared in the top 100. Compared to the 2017 ranking, Warsaw Port moved up 4 places to reach 95th position.
