The latest TasteAtlas ranking covers cheese desserts from around the world. Polish cheesecake was in the lead, leaving behind the delicacies of Japan, the USA, Germany and Greece.

For the ranking, the website also published brief information about each of the distinguished cheesecakes, including the ingredients needed to prepare it.

“Polish cheesecake comes from Christian and Jewish traditions. It is made from eggs, sugar and cottage cheese – a type of cheese used in desserts for hundreds of years.
