Young people prepared healthy snacks and drinks, the proceeds of which will be allocated to the Białystok Children’s Hospice from the “Help Them” Foundation. On this day, a special guest also met the students – Olympic champion Wojciech Nowicki.
Exercising has many benefits. It toughens us up, we feel better, healthier. By adding diet to it, we can keep our body healthy. Health Day is connected with the aid of the Białystok Children’s Hospice. This help is extremely important because not everyone is able to cope on their own

High School #5 Students Admit They Try To Eat Healthy Foods Every Day
Pupils of secondary school No. 5 in Białystok admit that they try to eat healthy food every day.
– I try to eat very healthy. I haven’t eaten meat for three years, I try to eat lots of vegetables and fruits. I don’t like sweets, but sometimes I eat fast food after school – said one of the students.
We have been helping the Białystok children’s hospice from the “Help them” Foundation for several years – said the teacher of biology of the Lyceum No. 5 in Białystok, Magdalena Zdrodowska.
Every year we donate money to the hospice which our students raise. They prepare various healthy meals as part of Health Day. On this day there are also various lectures prepared by our students. They talk about what’s in your meals – various preservatives and colorings
– said Magdalena Zdrodowska.
The World Health Organization informs that one in ten children in the world suffers from obesity – and Polish children are gaining weight the fastest in Europe.
