You can follow many sporting events on the TVP Sport channel. Some of the most important, however, also go to TVP 1 and TVP 2. All the most important news is of course transmitted on the sports service, which was previously broadcast before the “Wiadomości” evening. As reported by Telewizja Polska, the sports website’s broadcast change has yielded tangible results.
Changing the broadcast time of sports news on TVP has met with considerable success
We learned from Telewizja Polska’s announcement that the return to broadcasting sports news after the main edition of “Wiadomości” increased the audience of this service by almost half.
– From November 1, TVP1 broadcasts “Sport” after the main broadcast of “Wiadomości” and “Pogodzie”. This change was very well received by Jedynka viewers. According to data from Nielsen Media, the sports service is watched by 40% more viewers than before, or 1.4 million viewers, and the share of the program has increased by 25%. – we read in the ad. Such growth must be viewed in terms of considerable success.
