War casualties reportthat Poland suffered as a result of the German invasion and occupation is a great success for Mularczyk, even if – as he himself points out – it is a collective work, and he does not only played a coordinating role. The document triggered a discussion about Germany’s responsibility in World War II and possible compensation for our country, and the Polish Foreign Ministry sent a note about it to the Federal Government.
At the beginning of October, Mularczyk said in an interview with “Wprost” with satisfaction that the report had been written by the media around the world and that it would not be easy for the Germans to close the subject by declaring that war reparations are legally not due to us, since a sense of justice is involved. He then added that diplomacy must now take the matter in hand. Now he himself will be a diplomat.

Arkadiusz Mularczyk has long spread his wings in politics, undertaking various thankless tasks. He became a deputy in 2005 from the PiS list, and already in 2007 he was involved in a serious case – he represented the Sejm before the Constitutional Court in the case of the lustration law, namely universal access to National Remembrance Institute resources. It was then that he became famous for his request to remove from the jury two judges whose names he found in the records of the Institute.
His action was very badly received in the judicial community.
