“Every year we see the highest demand for rides during the Christmas and New Year periods. This year, due to the absence of pandemic restrictions, we anticipate that the need to travel among city residents will be even greater,” says Krzysztof Urban, Managing Director of Free Now in Poland.
Such high traffic may mean it will be more difficult to order a course. Urban therefore tells us at what times the demand for rides is highest.
“Last year, the highest number of orders on Christmas Eve were between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. and between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. On New Year’s Eve, the peak occurred between 2 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the morning”, explains the head of Free Now in Poland. .
“We will offer drivers working during this period additional bonuses for completed orders in order to maintain the availability of our service at the best possible level,” Urban also assures.
Kantar’s study for Free Now also shows that one in three residents of Polish cities plans to spend their vacation traveling this year. The remaining 70 percent of respondents intend to stay in the city and move only within it.
The analysis also shows that more than 80 percent Poles plan to celebrate the New Year with their family or closest friends, and only 15 percent plan to attend a bigger party at home.
