For whom Cinema in Sneakers

Presented as part of the Kino w Trampki festival films are fresh and contemporary imageswhere young people get to know the stories of their peers from different parts of the world. These are inspiring encounters with artists, interesting film talks and creative workshops.

– We know that films shape our view of the world and the way we perceive other cultures. Before children learn to speak and readthey learn see. We want them to look at the world with wisdom. We want the repertoire and additional activities to increase the sensitivity of the participants, open them to cultural diversity, influence curiosity, openness and benevolence towards others – says Agnieszka Drzewiecka-Proticthe founder of the festival.

Children’s volunteering and jury

An important element of the program is the involvement of children in the creation of the festival thanks to the participation of i.a. in volunteering or children’s juries. Being a juror is an opportunity to express yourself on a film for young contemporary audiences and to influence the form of cinema. They are wanted children and young people from 8 to 19 years oldwho will be available in the afternoons and weekends during the festival to participate in fixed shows and special events!

What films are on the Cinema in Trainers program?

The festival program includes films that address important and current topics. After experiencing social isolation, we want to present young people with cinema that shows the power of interpersonal relationships. “my nightspeaks poetically of the need for another human being,Rainbow Molly” allows you to broaden your thinking about family, and “The Island of the Lost Children“, “Surfers” and “Herd“to prove how beautiful and important brotherhood is.

– Joint screenings or the exchange of opinions are a great experience for participants, while providing excellent entertainment. However, no words can express the energy and ingenuity that our children put into preparing for the festival. It cannot be described, it has to be seen – adds Drzewiecka-Protić.

Holiday program

The film is perfect as an educational tool in the educational space, it can be a pretext to discuss various subjects with the students. At the festival, watching a film together takes on an extra dimension. It is for this reason that Kino w Sneakers offers shoes aimed at students and preschoolers.
