Dassault Systèmes acquires Diota, developer of software solutions for assembly processes and quality control of production areas. The acquisition will expand the platform’s offering 3DEXPERIENCE o even better use of augmented reality technology in assembly and production processes. Thus, customers in the aerospace, defense, automotive and industrial equipment sectors will be able to improve the performance of complex industrial processes as well as increase their operational efficiency.

Created in 2009 in France, Diota offers innovative software solutions for digital support of production operations and robot control. They help industrial companies to enter a new era of digital transformation. The company’s advanced technologies such as interactive 3D visualizations, augmented reality or artificial intelligence connect engineering teams to the operations responsible for the production and service of manufactured products. The use of these solutions aims to increase productivity, obtain better quality products and increase employee safety. More than 100 companies in 16 countries use Diota solutions, including BAE Systems, Dassault Aviation, Iveco, Latécoère, Naval Group, ORANO, Safran, Stellantis and Thales Alenia Space.

Dassault Systèmes will integrate Diota solutions with DELMIA applications used to model, optimize and implement processes in production, supply chains, logistics and services. Dassault Systèmes customers will be able to perform extremely complex operations on the first try, as well as increase the use of collected digital data as reference data, supporting the pursuit of better product quality and traceability and more complete intellectual property.
