The Amish are an interesting Protestant group that lives in the Northeastern United States. Many of them live in Wisconsin. What is their originality? They completely reject modern technology, including tiresand powered vehicles engines exhaust gases are prohibited.
Why does this happen? They believe that modern machines distract people from the community, and for them connections with others, primarily family, are the basis of how their community functions. They even reject electricity in everyday use.
Interestingly, they mostly deal with agriculture and at a high level. Yet the modern world had to enter them, whether they liked it or not.
