According to “Radio Kolor”, the police entered the Pepeland amusement park in Dziekanów Nowy. The animals kept there were taken from their owners. They lived in tragic conditions. They were very neglected and hungry. They were given insufficient portions of food. The case was reported by anonymous informants who were not indifferent to the fate of the animals.
The services rescued 24 horses, 2 donkeys, a dozen goats, 2 llamas and a macaque monkey. In the absence of the owners of the amusement park, an inspection was carried out. Only two employees were present at the site, according to information provided by the radio.

The decision to remove the animals from irresponsible owners was taken on Wednesday, November 23. Police officers from Łomianki assisted the poviat veterinarian. The specialist checked the condition of the animals. Their health was in danger.
The doctor made the decision to remove these animals. The police officers on the spot carried out procedural activities, collected evidence, a notification of animal abuse was received and the officers carried out an inspection – said the spokeswoman of the Stare District Police Headquarters Babice, under -insp. Ewelina Gromek-Oćwieja.
The vet found that the animals were badly neglected. He drew attention to gross errors in their feeding and maintenance. – After consulting the ladies of the municipal office of Łominaki, the police and the municipal guard, we decided to write a request to the mayor as a veterinary inspection to recover these animals – informs the veterinarian Dariusz Malewski.
The specialist described the condition of neglected animals. He said they were very skinny. The horses were out in the pasture, and the straw they could eat was barely enough to fill the hungry belly of at least one of the steeds, in his opinion. – Starvation rations, otherwise neglected in terms of hygiene. In short, it didn’t look good.
