Snowden’s lawyer, when asked how the whistleblower was feeling, said he was happy and thanked of the Russian Federation for obtaining citizenship.
He became a full citizen of Russia. More importantly, according to the Russian constitution, he cannot be extradited to a foreign country.
said Kucherena. That’s what they want United Stateswho are looking for him on charges of revealing state secrets and espionage.
There are also plans to naturalize Snowden’s wife. Currently, documents in this case are being collected, and according to Kucherena, the whole process should not take long.
