Elżbieta Dmoch is a singer and flautist who first played in the rock band Niewiedzi, then in the band Warszawskie Kuranty. Later, together with Janusz Kruk, with whom she formed the second of these groups, she founded 2 plus 1. The group also included Andrzej Rybiński, later replaced by Andrzej Krzysztofik, then Cezary Szlązak. The group created the hits “Elevator to Heaven”, “Come, paint my world”, “Wstawaj, it’s a shame for the day” or “Aller vers le soleil”.
In 1973, Dmoch and Kruk got married. The man died of a heart attack in 1992. Dmoch last performed in 2002 in Łomża, performing the greatest hits 2 plus 1. Later she moved from Warsaw to the village of Gładków in the municipality of Tarczyn. The singer avoided publicity.
New information about the health of Elżbieta Dmoch
In November 2021, Polish tabloids reported that the artist had been hospitalized, where doctors fought for her life for several days. The woman had the coronavirus and later pneumonia. We learned more about its current state thanks to the entry of the Polish National Foundation.
“After two hospital stays in November, Elżbieta Dmoch is feeling really well,” it read. According to members of the foundation, they visited the artist in his apartment just before Christmas. Andrzej Krzysztofik, who lives daily in Australia, also came. “It was a unique reunion of the last two people from the former composition of the group Dwa plus One” – it was reported. “At the end of 2022, the Foundation was close to Elżbieta. We helped her recover from a health crisis after two hospital stays. The Polish Music Foundation did not organize any collection to help Elżbieta Dmoch, but reliable donors donated for Elżbieta in the amount of PLN 3,705 to the PFM account! – We read.

According to members of the foundation, a new refrigerator was purchased for the artist for the funds raised. “In addition, we bought a new mobile phone, a small radio, an oil heater and a so-called walker for household use, which is no longer needed at the moment, because Ela moves around on her own. With the remaining funds, we will try to fund other necessary medical items or services.
Recording after years of Elżbieta Dmoch for fans
During Krzysztofik’s visit to Dmoch, the musician wrote a poem for his friend. She decided to recite and record it especially for her fans. The audio appeared on the band’s Facebook fan group. For the first time in years, you could hear your idol.
