Daniel Bewley has no intention of changing his entourage, and that’s great news for Betard Sparta Wrocław fans. The winner of two Grand Prix rounds this year has extended his contract with WTS until the end of the 2024 season.
Daniel Bewley signed a contract with Sparta last year for the 2022 and 2023 seasons. During the current transfer window, he extended his contract until 2024. – I am very happy that Daniel had no doubts to take the decision to stay longer with us. He feels very comfortable in Wrocław, knows the surroundings and knows how our club works. He works very well with his teammates and our fans love him. This season he has shown what value he is to Betard Sparta. It wasn’t the easiest time for us, and he impressed with his class, determination and great commitment throughout the season. I really appreciate these young people, full of passion and enthusiasm – says Andrzej Rusko, President of the Wrocław Sports Association.
Bewley won the Polish Tag Team Championship with Betard Sparta last season. This year – in a difficult season for the Wrocław team – he has been an important link in the WTS. In recent months he has shown that he is one of the best young generation speedway riders in the world. The 23-year-old has taken part in the Grand Prix regularly since the 2022 season and in the first year of starting in the prestigious series, he won two tournaments: in Cardiff and in Wrocław. The Briton ended the season in sixth place in the final standings.
