German authorities are reintroducing border controls from June 13 to July 3. Travelers during this period may be checked when crossing German land, air and sea borders. The border guard recommends having documents confirming identity and citizenship.

The summit of the leaders of the G7 countries, i.e. Germany, the United States, Canada, Great Britain, France, Italy and Japan, will take place from June 26 to 28 at Elmau Castle in Bavaria. This should be the main topic of conversation war in Ukraine. Furthermore, the G7 agenda for this year includes climate protection, but also the pursuit of a stable global economy, global food security and a commitment to social justice and equality.

– We will use our presidency of the G7 to make this group of countries a pioneer. A pioneer in the field of a climate-neutral economy and a just world, explained Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

The President will also attend the meeting European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and the President of the European Council Charles Michel. The German Chancellor also invited Indonesia, India, Senegal and South Africa to the summit.
