It is unclear where Grandfather’s Day originated in Poland. This holiday was probably introduced to our country from America in the 1980s and has grown in popularity ever since. This means that Grandfather’s Day is a public holiday with a shorter tradition than Grandmother’s Day, which has been celebrated in Poland since the 1960s.
