Meta is introducing a new feature to its Instagram service, calling it a dynamic profile photo. It meets the needs of fans of the virtual world and allows the user to attach to their account both a standard profile photo and an avatar representing them.
Before this update, the service user had two options to choose from. He could choose either profile photos or an avatar. He can now attach an avatar to his photo, and visitors to his profile can switch between them, viewing both the photo and the avatar. A small change, but one that shows that the virtual world is entering another realm.
To add an avatar to an existing profile photo, go to the Profile tab. Then hold your profile picture and drag it to the Avatar section. Then click Add to profile photo and our avatar will be attached to it.

This update introduces for the first time an animation for avatars, where the avatar accompanying your profile picture undulates slightly. It will wave slightly. Meta began working on avatars in 2020 and first introduced them to Instagram almost a year ago, following in the footsteps of other popular services of this type.
