According to the “Ukrainian Truth” portal, the comparison of Russians with the victims of the Holocaust aroused the indignation of the European Jewish Congress. The organization’s president Ariel Musicant released a statement about it, in which he demanded an official apology.

– We are shocked and outraged by this shameful comparison made by Minister Lavrov between the actions of the coalition of democratic countries and Hitler’s persecution and murder of six million Jews during the Holocaust. This is a perversion of the Holocaust at the most basic level, and we call on Mr. Lavrov to apologize and withdraw these words,” Musicant said.
