- It falls on December 27 each year National Day of Victorious Greater Poland Uprising. They were created to commemorate the day of the outbreak of the Greater Poland Uprising in 1918 – one of the few Polish uprisings for independence that ended successfully. The uprising, which was victorious for the Poles, ended with the February 16, 1919 truce in Trier, under which the lands inhabited by the Poles became part of the resurgent Republic of Poland.
- It’s the same day International Epidemic Preparedness Day. Let us remember that in the future, the known tragic events of the coronavirus pandemic could be repeated. Therefore, first of all, you need to take care of the appropriate level of vaccination in society, maintaining safety measures and listening to messages and advice from specialists.
- December 27 is Zoo visit day. The origins of this holiday are unclear and it is unknown who invented it, but it is definitely a possibility to consider spending time with family. And long walking after Christmas treat will definitely be something recommended.
