There were spectacular experiences, workshops, performances and lectures. The Night of Innovation was organized at the faculties of Białystok University of Technology.
On Saturday, October 22, the Night of Innovation 2022 took place at the Bialystok University of Technology. During the event, the university made its laboratories, specialized studios, halls and meeting rooms available to participants from three faculties: electrical, computer and civil. Engineering and environmental sciences. Most of the experiments, shows, lectures and workshops took place several times, so that as many people as possible had the chance to discover the fascinating world of science.
571 people registered for the event, with whom teachers and students held a total of 50 meetings. The youngest participant was 4 years old and the oldest 71 years old.
The success of Innovation Night was shows and presentations, such as:
- Do you know what you eat?
- Collaboration with robots
- Remote Control RC Car
- Real lightning in the laboratory of the Białystok University of Technology
- Popularization of virtual reality technology
- Interesting facts about renewable electricity sources.
The participants were very interested in topics related to “time”, such as: the production of optical fibers, biometrics, the use of drones to measure the height of trees, heat pumps, thermal diagnosis of buildings , remote sensing, internet of things and databases, or water purification methods, artificial intelligence or fungi supporting the fight against cancer. Participants could see for themselves how hard lightning strikes, move around the virtual world or learn how to operate robots. You can experience, touch, ask.
The events lasted from 3:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The Night of Innovation took place within the framework of the national campaign “Digital Festival”, during which you can visit the most important scientific centers in Poland.
