On January 4, on the national road No. 44 in Jaśkowice in the province there was a tragic accident. A 38-year-old man was killed and his 35-year-old wife was seriously injured and died the following day. The couple’s 3-month-old baby was also taken to hospital for observation.
Katarzyna Cisło from the Lesser Poland Police press team informed PAP that the man was driving a Honda Civic which for unknown reasons was in the opposite lane and collided head-on with a jeep coming from the opposite direction.
The next day, the Positive Association announced on its Facebook that Mr. Piotr and Mrs. Sylwia from Jawiszowice, the parents of their little ward Teosia, had died in the accident. The couple also had a daughter, Emilka.
The boy was born with a birth defect in his left leg. He is disabled and needs surgery. His parents raised funds for his rehabilitation and fought to keep him healthy. A fundraiser has been launched on siepomaga.pl for this purpose.
