During the last conference, the representatives of Law and Justice did not spare their words of criticism towards the Civic Platform. Gathered at the PO office in Włocławek, they listed what support for Poland and Poles was like during PO rule. Participated in the conference: Jarosław Chmielewski, head of municipal structures of the Law and Justice Party of Włocławek, MP Dr. Joanna Borowiak, Council of Ministers adviser Krzysztof Kowalski and Council of Ministers adviser Stanisław Krzemieniewski and the director of the office of the deputy of Dr. Joanna Borowiak – Dr. Irena Vuković- Kwiatkowska.
Jarosław Chmielewski compared the PO to a “dyed fox”.
The PO behaves like a red-dyed fox who forgot he stole the pockets of Poles for 8 years, and today he tries to turn the fox around and say it’s not him and actually d completely reverse reality – stressed Jarosław Chmielewski, head of municipal structures of the PIS in Włocławek.
The parliamentarian referred to the promises of Donald Tusk, according to which Poland was to be the second Ireland.
For some time PO politicians have been creating themselves as credible and portraying the era of their reign as one of broad support for Poland and Poles. We have heard Donald Tusk’s promises that Poland will be the second Ireland – summed up MP Dr. Joanna Borowiak.
Then Councilor Krzysztof Kowalski took the floor.
As a reminder: what did Mr. Tusk and his team do? It was supposed to be 30 billion for the strengthening and expansion of the Polish railway. How was it? Several hundred kilometers of railway lines have been liquidated. Connections were liquidated and stations were liquidated – noted Councilor Kowalski.
Mr. Donald Tusk promised to cut corporation tax, income tax and VAT, and how did that happen? During this time, Prime Minister Tusk increased VAT and did not lower IRP and IS – the adviser continued.
Mr Donald wanted to encourage Poles to stay professionally active longer. How was it? It equalized the retirement age for men and women at 67. He leveled it and at the same time increased it – thundered Councilor Kowalski.
Donald, the truth is different from what you are trying to convince the Poles that it was different from what it really was – the adviser added at the end.
Dr Joanna Borowiak, MP, stressed that the PiS government works for Poland and the Poles. The PiS representatives confronted the activities of the PO with the changes introduced by the PiS since 2015. The MP also recalled the programs put in place by the PiS government.
We lowered the retirement age, which was raised by Donald Tusk for women and men, we introduced the Family 500+ scheme which PO politicians were looking for money for, asked where it was buried and said there was no such money and there will be no money, we introduced the Dobry Start program for students, we support the elderly, pensioners and pensioners, we guaranteed the 13th and 14th pension. The 13th pension is already guaranteed by law, the 14th will be in a moment. We keep our word – said Dr. Joanna Borowiak.
Dr. Joanna Borowiak also pointed out that the Law and Justice Party government has been operating in an extremely difficult situation for the past few years:
We had a global pandemic. During the pandemic, the energy crisis caused by the war, we also support the Poles. Today we know that the PO promises are another fraud and we see that the Law and Justice government is a good government for hard times.
The PiS representatives intended to leave the prepared poster at the PO headquarters in Włocławek, which was unfortunately closed. According to the declarations of the deputy, the letter will be sent to the PO structures.
Hello Platforma, we know that during this difficult time you have nothing to offer the Poles – read the beginning of the letter, which we publish below.
