Washington’s total liability to Ukraine, taken from January 27 to June 7, is $25.45 billion. Washington is also the leader in terms of military funds already transferred to kyiv ($6.3 billion over the same period).
Commitments government in London to Ukraine, in turn, amounted to 2.53 billion dollars, while the actual expenditure so far – 1.6 billion dollars. These amounts do not include the $1.2 billion additional support pool announced by UK authorities on June 30, the BBC reported after the World Economy Institute in Kiel, Germany.
The following positions among the countries that most strongly support Ukraine (in terms of funds declared and not transferred for military purposes) are Germany ($1.48 billion), Canada ($0.8 billion), Norway ($0.48 billion) and the Czech Republic ($0.27 billion). Only France comes thirteenth (0.16 billion) and Italy fifteenth (0.11 billion).
The West has reacted relatively slowly to Ukraine’s demands for heavy weapons.
