Przerówów, a small village on the lips of the whole world

Without the rockets supposedly falling on this town, few people would probably have heard of Przewodów in the province. Lublin province. The village is located right next to the border with Ukraine. To get to the Ukrainian town of Nusmice, you need to travel about 25 km. However, the journey to Lviv is 120 km – and the journey takes around 2 hours.

However, the village of Lublin is very far from Warsaw. It is more than 330 km from the capital Przewodzie. The city is approximately the same distance from Krakow.

Currently, the village has just over 400 inhabitants, whereas ten years ago there were more than half a thousand. The city has a centuries-old tradition. Before World War II, it was inhabited mainly by Ukrainians, but there were also some Jews. The Poles, if they lived there, were completely marginal. Most of the residents are currently engaged in agriculture.

As energy expert Bartłomiej Derski points out, Przewodów is 4 or 5 km from the power line connecting Poland to Ukraine. But currently, no electricity is circulating there because Ukraine recently stopped its exports.

In the town there is a small grocery store and an industrial store and a cemetery. But the largest building is the parish church of St. Brother Albert, completed in 1987.
