Without the rockets that were supposed to fall on this town, hardly anyone would have heard of Przewodów in the province. Lublin. The village is located near the border with Ukraine. To get to the Ukrainian town of Nuśmice, you have to travel about 25 km by car. However, the journey to Lviv is 120 km – and you should allocate around 2 hours for the journey.
From the tip of Warsaw, however, the village of Lublin is very far. It is more than 330 km from the capital Przewody. More or less the same distance separates the city from Krakow.
Currently, the village is inhabited by just over 400 inhabitants, whereas ten years ago there were more than half a thousand. The city has a centuries-old tradition. Before the Second World War, it was inhabited mainly by Ukrainians, there were also some Jews. The Poles, if they lived there, were completely marginal. Most of the inhabitants are now engaged in agriculture.

As noted by Bartłomiej Derski, an energy expert, Przewodów is 4-5 km from the power line connecting Poland and Ukraine. Currently, however, electricity does not flow there, as Ukraine recently stopped its exports.
There is a small grocery store and a cemetery in the village. The largest building, however, is the parish church of St. Frère Albert, completed in 1987.
