Last Friday at ul. Grunwaldzka 8 in Sopot, a new restaurant by the Collins brothers “WĘDZONYCH” was officially opened. Famous personalities from show business, such as Piotr Stramowski, Michał Będzmirowski (known as Modny Tata) and Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz himself, appeared at the opening.

October 28, 2022 in the center of Sopot, at 8 Grunwaldzka Street there was the opening of a restaurant whose brothers Rafal and Grzegorz Collins became co-owners. The austere interior decorated with expressive colors straight from American steakhouses is a place on the culinary map of Sopot, which offers an authentic experience for the eyes and the palate.

It’s not the first catering company Collins Brothers. In 2020 they opened the restaurant FUEGO by Bracia Collins in Warsaw, which they were forced to close in August this year. Nevertheless, the owners believe that it is a change for the better: “We closed our own brand to invest in it. If you hear about it for the first time, feel honored, because it will soon be in your city, if it is not there yet… don’t miss it!” – says Rafal Collins.

The official opening of the place took place in the evening at 7 p.m. Collins Brothers they took care of a good atmosphere, which was additionally made more attractive by the DJ. Famous brothers ensured the guests an unforgettable evening with the Chef, who took care of the American atmosphere of the menu of the steakhouse. During the event, guests were able to taste dishes from the restaurant’s offer and also try a unique whiskey.

Chief, Michal Snéla is a well-known restaurateur who has spent most of his career in England. He began his adventure with gastronomy at the age of 20, while pursuing a 3-year training at Chichester College in the faculty of gastronomy. Two years later, he moved to London, where he acquired professionalism and experience. During his stay in the English capital, he worked in the best Michelin-starred restaurants, such as: Chez Bruce, The Artichoke, Marcus Wareing, Wild Honey, Charlottes Bistro and the flagship restaurant of Gordon Ramsay’s Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. Thanks to all the skills he acquired during his stay in the islands in a restaurant “SMOKE” serves an American barbecue, which takes you into a world of authentic sensations.
