The Qatar 2022 World Cup kicks off this weekend – the first whistle for the opening match will sound on Sunday 20 November. On this occasion, the developers of EA Sports have prepared a free addition to FIFA 23 on the World Cup. The extension is now available for download on almost all platforms. What will we find in the FIFA 23 World Cup 2022 mode?

They qualified for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar 32 national teams, including the Polish team led by Czesław Michniewicz. All of these teams will be included in the 2022 FIFA World Cup add-on FIFA 23who is available from Wednesday 9 November.

The main mode of the World Cup 2022 add-on is naturally Tournament, in which players can lead the team of their choice from the first game of the group stage to the final. There will be some flexibility here, as it will be possible to replace any team with a team (15 to choose from) that did not qualify for the World Cup. This way, even Italian fans will have a chance for the Azzurri to show up at Qatari facilities.

The competition will take place in both offline and online modes. Crossplay in online tournaments is restricted to players of the same platform generation only.

From when the World Cup starts on November 20, the mode will be updated inhabit. It will allow you to follow your favorite team’s progress in the tournament and play matches in three different ways.

Promotional Quick Play – allows you to play a promoted match on a given day of the 2022 World Cup calendar or to choose another day. You can compete with artificial intelligence or friends.
Fast online game – focuses only on the online competition, in which national teams qualified for the final tournament and all others available in the game (eg Italy, Hungary or Ireland) can participate.
Your soccer world cup – As the tournament progresses, players can inherit their real-world progress and take matters into their own hands, influencing the course of football history as they see fit. You can choose to start from any past or current World Cup match and then inherit your scores and stats from the current moment.

The start of the 2022 World Cup will be a good opportunity for new players to start their adventure with FIFA Ultimate Teamand for veterans, to improve their teams with unique player cards.

Thus, all players of the 32 national teams qualified for the World Cup will receive a special one. FIFA World Cup player cards as part of Ultimate Team. The Starter Pack will be available to everyone on November 11 when they enter the mode. The second season of FUT will only focus on the World Cup and collecting cards. You can earn them as rewards in quests, challenges, and packs. The time to collect World Cup cards will end on December 23.

From November 11, you can hunt FIFA World Cup Hero Cards, which are enhanced versions of FUT Champions, celebrating some players’ major contributions to World Cup tournaments. For the first time in FUT’s 14-year history, all players will have unique images illustrated by Marvel artists. Among the distinguished and legendary players was a Pole – Włodzimierz Smolarek, who received the superhero nickname Phase Shift and as stated in the description: “moves between dimensions to avoid anyone who gets in his way “.
