Unusual light to the sky with Nicolaus Copernicus in the lead role, concerts by bands from Manchester and Bulwar, Foucault’s pendulum auction and traditional swimming – eg. this will happen at the 31st WOŚP Final in Toruń and surroundings. The goal of the finale this time is to fight sepsis.
Watch the video: 2023 is the year of Nicolaus Copernicus in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian province.
There are three seats of the Great Christmas Charity Orchestra in Toruń. The role of the principal, who, among other things, is responsible for events in the Old Town Square, is played by the ZHP troupe from Toruń, and his boss is again Artur Majerowski. There is also a staff at III LO in Skarpa, led by Radosław Boroch for years. It will be different than before in Toruń’s smaller staff at Old Town Primary School No. 1. Its longtime charismatic boss, Anita Nowak, died in May. Fortunately, his work will continue – the staff of “one” is headed by Bartosz Błażejewski, the son of Anita Nowak.
What we already know about the attractions of the upcoming final. Among other things, about the light to the sky. What will it look like?
– At the start, on the building of the Old Town Hall, we will see Nicolas Copernicus, who will play with us throughout the day. He will raise his eyes to the sky for a moment to show us his heliocentric theory. Then we will move on to a world where each of us takes care of our health, our loved ones and our neighbors. We would also like to thank the volunteers for their commitment, every smile and the joy they can play with us. And then the space of Old Town Square will be filled with amazing laser light.
So far, it has been revealed that Manchester and Bulwar will play on the Old Town stage. The whole scenario for Sunday’s final will be ready soon. The heart of the orchestra will beat in the Cour Artus, where, among other things, the money will be counted.
The Mill of Knowledge Center for Modernity is also participating in the final. Traditionally, the name of the oldest continuously operating Foucault pendulum in Poland will be auctioned. The winner of the auction will receive a certificate and will have the right to put their name or company name on the board on the ground floor of the centre. The plaque will also contain information that the name of the pendulum was auctioned off in the 31st GOCC Finals. The auction will take place on Allegro.
