Isaac Johnson of Minnesota has been fascinated by Guinness Records for years. When in 2017 he saw the German Bernd Schmidt set a record in the category “largest mouth in the world” with 8.8 cm, a bold thought appeared in Isaac’s head: I am going to break this record.
Break the Guinness record
Isaac Johnson’s dream of setting a Guinness World Record came true on April 15, 2019. The diploma officially reads 9.34 cm. This is the distance measured between the upper and lower teeth.
However, the boy’s joy did not last long. The same year, in November, the honorable title of “biggest mouth in the world” was taken away from him by his compatriot Phillip Angus. The number 9.52 cm must have haunted Isaac’s dreams for a long time.
The determined teenager didn’t give up. In June 2021, he won the championship again with a gap of 10.175 cm.
But that’s not the end of the story.
The biggest mouth in the world
In 2022, Isaac Johnson broke his own Guinness World Record for “largest mouth in the world”, setting a record of 10,176 cm. The boy is able to put a golf ball, a half-liter bottle of water and even a whole apple in his mouth!
We wish this courageous teenager much success and perseverance in achieving his dreams!
