Uzdrowisko Ustroń is famous for its vocational rehabilitation, unusual location and empathetic staff, but you can’t forget the most frequently visited place! It is an undisputed center for making friends, improving dance skills and experiencing common emotions, for example in sports. Aromatic coffee and homemade cake are perfect for conversation, and spiced mulled wine on cooler days. We are talking about the Kuracjusz club, which is open not only to patients, guests and patients of Uzdrowisko Ustroń, but also to residents of Ustroń and the surrounding area. The atmosphere of this unique place will be introduced by Adam Burczak – the director of the Kuracjusz Club.
Klub Kuracjusz is a meeting place for…? Can you tell us about the regulars of the club?
A B: I think it’s a character issue and the most frequent customers are people who just like to have fun listening to good music. The dance evenings attract not only spa guests, but also dance lovers from the region. In addition to residents of Ustroń, customers come to us from Pszczyna, Cieszyn and Skoczów. We are open to people of all ages and we hope that the atmosphere of the club will also be discovered by more people aged 40 and over.
There is no need to advertise dance parties at Kuracjusz’s Club. Who’s coming to dance? What music is most frequent in the club?
AB: Indeed, we can’t complain about the crowds (laughs). Lots of people crave to dance, I have to admit that only a few places around here offer such an opportunity. We are happy to be able to meet such a need.
I think the second reason is the music, because I have to admit that we play at a high level! Every Friday we invite you to an evening with live music, and more precisely with the group “WisłART”, which heats up the dance floor with hits from the 1980s to current dance hits. The other days, however, it’s DJ who takes care of the music, including me (smile).
At this stage, I remind you that the dance evenings take place from Tuesday to Sunday from 6:00 p.m. We invite all dance lovers!
Menu at Kuracjusz’s Club – what can you order, which items are the most popular?
AB: We offer our guests delicious cakes and bar meals prepared by our kitchen. I honestly admit that it is difficult to find a better cheesecake and apple pie in the region than in our country (laughs). We can boast of an extensive drinks menu and we offer three types of draft beer, including dark ales. In addition, we serve aromatic coffee, and on cool autumn evenings we recommend tasting the spice of mulled wine.
Is it a place where you can experience great emotions together, for example football or volleyball matches?
AB: Yes, of course. Matches are broadcast, for example, we recently experienced the emotions of volleyball together, and now we are working to expand our package to be able to experience the struggles of football related to the 2022 World Cup, which is already in November! In addition, plenty of entertainment is provided by mountain parties with thieves and accordion concerts on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
What is very significant is the possibility of borrowing from us: cards, bingo and chess, which also offer great entertainment on autumn evenings, especially with our mulled wine.
What words would you encourage the undecided to visit the Patients Club?
AB: We invite all those who wish to spend privileged moments in an emblematic place. We pride ourselves on friendly, professional service and provide a great atmosphere from the moment you enter. However, our dance hits take even the most reluctant to the dance floor, so we recommend that you bring comfortable dancing shoes. See you later!
