He was appointed to this post by the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, in August 2015.
The President’s Chancellery informs that Soloch will now become one of the President’s social advisers.

Who is Paul Soloch?
Paweł Soloch graduated from the Faculty of History of the University of Warsaw and post-graduate studies at the Institute of Higher Studies in Public Administration (IDHEAP) in Lausanne and post-graduate studies at the National School of Administration (ENA) in Paris. His main specialization is in the areas of national security, crisis management and critical infrastructure protection.
In the years 1992-1998 he worked in Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of National Defencethen he was also Deputy Director in the Defense Affairs Directorate of the Prime Minister’s Chancellery (1998-1999).
At the turn of 2000-2001, he headed the Common Security Department of the Ministry of Interior and Administration. From 2004 to 2005 he was an advisor to the Mayor of Warsaw.
From 2005 to 2008 he was Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of Interior and Administration and, from November 2005, also Head of National Civil Defence. He was an adviser to the head of the National Security Bureau (2008-2010) and an expert at the Sobieski Institute (2010-2014).
