The presidential couple’s Christmas greetings, along with a video, were posted on the president’s website as well as on social media. – On Christmas Eve, we ask you to accept the warmest wishes and greetings. May this special time bring us all strength and peace. May he renew the ties that unite us, declared President Andrzej Duda.

The President’s wife pointed out that on this “holy and silent night” in Polish homes around the world, cordial wishes, conversations at the Christmas table and beautiful Polish Christmas carols resound. – We share the wafer, and with gifts we remind everyone how important they are to us – she added.

GRATITUDE FOR PEACE AND SECURITY

As the President pointed out, “We hope this vacation will bring you a lot of peace; that they will make you forget your worries, especially since the past year has not been easy again”. “When we started rejoicing that the pandemic was finally subsiding, our close neighbor Ukraine was the victim of armed aggression,” the president noted.

Therefore, as Agata Kornhauser-Duda underlined, “more than before, we are grateful for the peace and security that Poland enjoys and for the great inestimable value of our unity and solidarity in difficult times” .
