TikTok is currently one of the fastest growing social networks in the world. This information was recently provided by Sensor Tower in its “Q1 2022: Store Intelligence Data Digest” report. It reads that in the ranking listing the most downloaded applications, TikTok occupies first place. Worldwide and in Europe.
Estimates made by Sensor Tower include global downloads on iPhone, iPad and Android devices between January 1 and March 31, 2022. From its availability until Q1 2021, the TikTok app has been downloaded 3.5 billion times , being in the top five applications (being the only one that does not belong to Meta) with such a result.
Since the start of 2022, TikTok has been downloaded over 175 million times, surpassing 10 million downloads in the past nine quarters. By comparison, YouTube has crossed the same threshold for eight consecutive quarters.
