In 2022, we again haven’t received a new installment in the Assassin’s Creed series. Ubisoft, however, has not forgotten the fans and recently announced the creation of no less than four productions with Assassins in the main role. The new AC game will be called Mirage and will premiere in the fall of 2023. Now is the perfect time to take advantage of the waiting time and catch up. We’ve compiled a list of the top 10 Assassin’s Creed games to help you do just that. Find out which episode of the series is the best in our opinion.

Without a doubt, Assassin’s Creed is one of the most popular video game franchises in the world. For 15 years, new versions have appeared, more or less different from each other. What sets the next AC apart is the world presented – fictional, but referring to real events from the past, for example Italy, France, Egypt, Greece or the United States. Everything is linked by the eternal rivalry between the Templars and the Assassins and the Animus – a device that allows you to travel to the time of your ancestors.

Ranking of the TOP 10 Assassin’s Creed games. Which part is the best?
The latest Assassin’s Creed game was released in November 2020: Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. This is the 12th installment in the series created by Ubisoft, or rather its studios. No fewer than 15 teams worked on the Vikings story, led by Ubisoft Montreal.
Our protagonist (or protagonist) has a name Eivor, as a result of certain events, he must leave 9th-century Norway and seek a new home. And here is England, gradually conquered by the clan of the main character.
In Valhalla, many of AC Odyssey’s annoying bugs have been fixed, led by the character development model where no one needs to collect unwanted weapons and outfits. This episode definitely focuses on the pure fun of the game – destruction and demolition is put here, and stealth is pushed aside. Which may not appeal to everyone. On the other hand, what would a rude Viking look like in stealth missions? Well, it’s hard to imagine.
So we have a lot of fights that we won’t avoid, storming castles and looting monasteries. There is also a simplified drakkar, which is the equivalent of a ship. And if that’s not enough for someone, three great paid add-ons have been released for Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids, Siege of Paris and Dawn of Ragnarok.
After many endless rumors and speculations, in September Ubisoft finally officially announced the latest installment viz. Assassin’s Creed: Mirage. The title is to focus on a known secondary character from AC Valhalla – Basim. We will learn his fate before joining the brotherhood of assassins, while he was still involved in robberies. This time, the action will take place in Baghdad, so it must be seen as a kind of return to the sources of the series. Especially since the creators will put a lot of emphasis on stealth.
Also, during the event Ubisoft Ahead, the developers announced three more titles in the AC series: Project Red, Project Hexe, and Project Jade.
