“A Polish citizen may agree to serve in a foreign army or military organization with the agreement of the Minister responsible for the Interior and, in the case of former career soldiers, with the agreement of the Minister of National Defense.“- We read.

It is important to note that consent is only granted upon written request prepared according to the template and submitted to the competent authority.
As “DGP” mentions, a certain number of documents are also required:
- certificate of absence of criminal record from the national criminal record,
- a certificate from the competent head of the competent tax office stating the absence of tax arrears,
- a certificate from the competent branch of the Social Insurance Institution or the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund attesting to the absence of arrears in social security and health insurance contributions,
- a certificate from the national judicial register attesting that insolvent debtors are not entered in the register,
- a declaration from the applicant (in writing) that he is not registered in the national register of debtors,
- confirmation of payment of stamp duty.
As of March 3, no requests in this matter had been received.
